Well, I've seen in an old dengeki hobby mag where they use super metallic as the undercoat, and slap on fixed percentage of some clear yellow and orange and get a plated gold -like color. I wouldn't want to try it directly on my kits though... >.< Not experienced in paint mixing/multiple layers.
ho ho! I love how understated your version looks so far! And it is already more aesthetically pleasing than the original model! The gold-painted frame is looking really well with the bling gold there ^^.

ReplyDeletek' - that is a great idea that i never considered. i'd have to test it out first to make sure it came out right but i cant see why it wouldnt work!
