I really liked the design of this for some reason. I thought the 2 sided MS idea was kind of silly but I do like the basic MS design by itself. I'm glad they made this and if a HG model of it is made I think I'd like to pick it up.

I loved the Reborns in its Gundam form. It has the look of a final antagonist mecha and was the perfect counter to all of Celestial Being's Gundams. The Cannon form was just plain unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteIs there somewhere I can find out what the 00P profile is saying? 1 Gundam looks pretty great, as does the Reborns recolour. I was alreadly looking forward to getting that kit, now I have to step up my game.

That's a nice recolour. I struggle with high heeled mechs but I make an exception for this design. The proportions of the upper body, particularly the shoulders, look a lot nicer in the lineart imo.
ReplyDeleteI prefer 1 Gundam over the double-sided Reborns Gundam IMHO. It's just me though, but the repainted Reborns is good though!
ReplyDeleteI liked reborns bcuz it is bthe only MS which beat the hell out of 00Raiser, which i really hated because of its "cheat mode" that make setsuna unbeatable. ajust waiting for the 1/100 version...

ReplyDeleteReborns Gundam is actually not that bad, but the "cannon" side kinda spoilt it. I came across a Reborns Gundam recolor on the side last week and the scheme was similar to that of Nu Gundam, with the funnels as shield, if only i could find and remember where I saw it 1st.
ReplyDeleteI have the Reborns Gundam and I dont display the cannono mode at all. Also I wish I though of that scheme I only Painted the yellow parts gold.
