Well I was thinking of a project for when I'm back in Canada. Simultaneous build of the oldest and the newest Gundam versions seems fitting for the 30 year anniversary of the franchise.

ReplyDeleteBTW, I had seen some really nice looking mods for 0 Gundam, by swapping the shoulders & the thighs with the RX-78-2 Gundam kit.

This is actually a really interesting project. I've been curious to see the similarities between the two. And that willpower issue is starting to effect me too. I told myself that the next MG I buy would be Exia, but yesterday, I brought home a MG Mark II A.E.U.G. Color Ver. 2.0 HD Ver. (wordy name is wordy)

G.G. - yes i think i have turned to the dark side. I've just given up. Worst case scenerio is that they just stay in a box in my closet for... a couple of decades but whatever. I'll build them all eventually! Just need the space to put them up!
ReplyDeletecurious about those mods you mentioned. i'll have to browse the forums a bit before starting. i'm not planning on doing anything crazy for this though. probably wont even paint them.
j - i'm going to leave the boots red just because im leaving them at home with my mom and she always thinks of gundams as 'the robots with the red boots' haha. and i have A LOT of WIPS but i'm only working on the G04 now. if i were to look at all the things that i have to finish... omg i dont even want to think about it... things will be better in 2010! wait for it!
gunota - good one to get! one of my personal favourites. yeah long name for that one! oh well... if you think about it... there are definitely worse things to be spending money on!
